This is the second book of music for duos, trios and ensembles arranged by Verlene. As the ensemble leader for Harpers Hall, Verlene has had many years of experience leading a multi-level harp ensemble and has arranged several pieces for the Harpers Hall ensemble in two or three parts. This book includes nine of her arrangements – four Christmas pieces, two classical, and three traditional tunes – one Breton, one Swedish, and one Scottish/Bluegrass. Harp one is the easiest part, with harp two at intermediate level and harp three more advanced. The two classical pieces don’t follow this division of levels, but both have something for each level to play. She has included suggestions on how to use the book with either two or three harps, or full harp ensembles. Many of the three part pieces can also be played as a duet or solo. 27 pages. ($12.00)
