The solo harp arrangement by Kim Robertson was recorded on her "Highland Heart" CD (GOURD). ($5.00) The ensemble arrangement by Kim Robertson is meant to be played with her solo sheet music (see above). The sheet music includes both an easy and an intermediate harp part. Neither one stands alone, but along with the solo sheet music, this can be played as a trio or three part harp ensemble piece, by using both easy and intermediate parts, or as a duet or two part ensemble piece by choosing either the easy or the intermediate harp along with the solo arrangement. ($5.00) Jupiter is from Holst's suite, "The Planets." It is also known as "I Vow to Thee, My Country," a patriotic hymn based on a poem by Cecil A. Spring-Rice, and by "Thaxted," after the village in Essex where Holst lived. It appears in a number of hymnals with the text of "O God, Beyond All Praising." The CD is available through Gourd Music. Each is also available as a PDF. |
